Scotlandville Middle Pre-Engineering Academy is a highly specialized learning
community that focuses on enhancing student growth in the area’s of Mathematics,
Science, and Technological Skills through the infusion and immersion of a
dedicated Pre-Engineering curriculum. Emphasis is placed on project based,
hands-on, collaborative activities through our Academy of Engineering and Academy of Robotics courses. These course catalogues
move students through a multitude of progressive and challenging activities that
promote growth throughout all subject areas, and enhances problem solving and
higher order thinking skills.
In addition to the Engineering
based curriculum, learners are also exposed to a wide variety of advanced
technological activities, multimedia workshops, and accelerated curriculums,
that if followed with diligence, will allow the learner to gain High School
credit in Algebra I, Physical Science, and Computer Science.
